Penang Chee Cheong Fun

There's many kinds of chee cheong fun in Malaysia, but today I'm going to introduce only Penang style chee cheong fun.

Penang style chee cheong fun is a special kind of rice noodle(not koay teow/normal rice noodle) served with it's own special sauce that is the special sweet sauce and special prawn paste.
The rice noodle is rolled up and not cut, and its thinner than the rice noodle used in char koay teow.
The sauce is special because the sauces are recook and mix with other ingredient.
The ingredient is added to cut out the heavy and odd smell of the sauce.

In the plate consist of flat rice noodle, vegetable oil,the special prawn paste, special sweet sauce, chili sauce, fried onions and fried sesame seeds.

To prepare this dish, first the 2 piece of rice noodle is steamed in it's steamer for 10-15second just to heat it up a little(depends on your stomach,i normally eat 2 cause its kinda filling)
then the rice noodle is cut in to pieces, then a tablespoon of vegetable oil is added on top of the noodle, after that add a table spoon of the special sweet sauce, then add 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of the special prawn paste, then add fried onions and sesame seeds on top of the noodle, then add a little of the chili sauce.

In Penang the famous one is in Jalan Genting,
but there are few in PJ, one is in PJ Paramount Garden, and the other is in

PJ Sunwaymas coffee shop called The Kopitiam
